Just like many other parents Jessica and David, the director of this movie, spend a lot of time researching the topic of vaccinations for children. While David regards vaccination as something completely normal, Jessica is more than alarmed about the side effects. They try to figure out the best option for their daughter. David actively investigates and speaks to scientists and doctors from different countries. A sudden outbreak of measles in their Berlin neighborhood forces them to make a decision: Will they vaccinate their daughter or not?
"Ganz ehrlich, wenn's nach mir ging, hätten wir unsere Tochter schon längst geimpft." So treuherzig beginnt David Sieveking seine Doku übers Impfen. Diskussionen mit seiner Frau über Pro und Contra Spritze führen ihn erst in die Bibliothek und dann zu Experten. Eine Recherchereise, die den Zuschauer allerdings zunehmend verunsichert statt ihn aufzuklären. So sympathisch es grundsätzlich ist, wenn eine Doku aus persönlicher Betroffenheit heraus entsteht - hier stiftet diese Haltung vor allem Verwirrung.
