11-year-old Rocca, a clever, creative and brave girl who lives all by herself now has to go to a normal school for the first time. There, she immediately stands out for her carefree and unadjusted manner. Fearless, she confronts the mobbers of the class, because justice comes first for Rocca. So she tries to help her homeless friend Caspar and win the heart of her grandmother. In defiance of her teachers and the authorities, Rocca has to fight to keep her independence and prove to everyone that a child also has the power to change the world.
Rocca ist ein Superkind. Rocca spielt draußen, während die anderen Kinder auf Snapchat versacken. Rocca ist gut zu allen, während andere mobben. Rocca kann sogar Flugzeuge notlanden, während die anderen Kinder auf ihren Screens bloß Autos zu Schrott fahren. Auch wenn sie erst elf ist, weiß man, dass man nie mithalten können wird mit ihr. Das Kunststück aber, das Katja Benrath in dieser Komödie gelingt: Auch nach 97 Minuten ist man noch hundertprozentig Team Rocca.
