La vie de Joan Stanley, qui détient le record d'années de service en tant qu'espionne du KGB.

Die Geschichte wird in Rückblenden erzählt, und das ist das Problem. Judi Dench darf in diesem Film nämlich nicht viel mehr tun als die Augen verdrehen, um sich an früher zu erinnern. Sophie Cookson macht ihre Sache nicht schlecht, aber die junge Joan und die alte kommen nie richtig zusammen. Schade um die Gegenwart. Und Judi Dench.
