Careless Crime
Shahram Mokri, Iran, 2020o
During the uprising to overthrow the Shah's regime in Iran in the late 1970s, some protesters set fire to cinemas to show their opposition to Western culture. 40 years have passed, and in today's Iran, four people decide to burn down a cinema as well. Their target is a cinema showing a film called Careless Crime about an unexcavated, unexploded missile.
